Danny Scholz is the lead guitar player for True Strings. Growing up on the north side of Chicago, Danny’s primary influences were blues with a sprinkle of 70’s & 80’s era rock and roll. He has an excellent ear for sound mixing and an uncanny ability to develop musical introductions, hooks, lead sections, bridge transitions and endings that keep True Strings songs interesting. Danny is an excellent recording engineer as well and is responsible for arranging, mixing and developing many projects from initial concept to post-production. His versatility is the heart of True Strings. Danny also plays bass guitar and drums when called upon. His contributions make for rapid song development and project completion. Danny works with Mark Nathanson in his Canyon Lake studio working out final mixes and mastering the final stereo two-track Wave File version of the True Strings' recordings.
Danny is very detail oriented and has an uncanny ability to layer sounds and play with tones that give True Strings' recordings a very polished and professional sound.
